Electrical Faults Behave Differently
Mechanical problems tend to be consistent — a bad roller drags every single cycle. Electrical problems are often the opposite: a gate that works fine in the morning and fails at night, or works for a week after being touched and then stops again. That pattern almost always points to a marginal connection, moisture, or a component that fails as it warms up.
Tracing those faults takes measurement, not replacement. We work through the supply, the run, the enclosure, the board and the connected devices until the readings show where the circuit is actually breaking down.

Gate systems sit at the edge of a property with long cable runs, which makes them exposed to surges. After a storm it is common to find a board that boots but ignores its inputs, a receiver that no longer hears remotes, or a loop detector that reads a permanent vehicle. We identify what actually took the hit instead of replacing everything on the assumption that it did.
Bringing the System Back Reliably
Once the fault is repaired we re-test the whole system: full open and close cycles, safety device response, remote and keypad range, and behavior on battery where fitted. A gate that only works while a technician is standing next to it has not been repaired.
