Operators Sized for the Gate

An undersized operator is the single most common reason a new automatic gate fails early. Operator selection depends on gate weight, gate length, duty cycle, whether the site sees heavy daily traffic, and whether battery backup is needed so the entrance still works during a power outage. We size operators for the gate that is actually being installed.

Access Control Built In From Day One

Keypads, intercoms, telephone entry, card and fob readers, loop detectors, receivers and smartphone entry are far easier to install while the gate is going in than to retrofit later. If you are planning a new automatic gate, it is worth deciding then how residents, staff, visitors and deliveries will each get through.

Commissioning and Handover

Once the gate and operator are installed, we set travel limits, force settings and reversing behavior, align and test safety devices, program remotes and entry codes, and walk you through manual release so you know how to open the gate if power is ever lost.
