Gate Opener & Gate Motor Repair
Repair and programming for automatic gate operators, motors, control boards, receivers, remotes and keypads on sliding and swing gates.
- Slide & swing operators
- Control boards & receivers
- Remote and keypad programming
- 24/7 emergency service
The Operator Does the Hardest Work
Every automatic gate cycle asks the operator to start a heavy object moving, hold it at speed, slow it and stop it precisely — often hundreds of times a month. Over time chains stretch, gears wear, capacitors weaken, limit switches drift and boards accumulate damage from moisture and power surges.
Because the operator sits at the center of the system, its symptoms are easy to misread. We test the operator's power, inputs, outputs and mechanics separately so a sensor fault does not get treated as a motor failure.
What We Service
- Gate motors
- Gate operators (slide and swing)
- Remote controls
- Keypads
- Safety sensors
- Control boards
- Receivers and antennas
- Limit switches and encoders
- Chains, racks and gearboxes
- Smart access systems
Symptoms We See Most Often
- Operator hums but the gate stays put
- Gate runs slowly, jerks or grinds
- Gate overshoots or stops short
- Operator runs then reverses immediately
- Intermittent operation in heat, cold or rain
- Remotes work only from a few feet away
- Control board shows a fault code
- Operator trips a breaker
Battery Backup and Power Problems
Many operators include a battery so the gate keeps working during an outage. Those batteries have a finite life, and an aging one can cause behavior that looks like a board fault — weak movement, resets mid-cycle or a gate that only misbehaves when the power flickers. Battery testing is part of a thorough operator diagnosis.
When Replacement Makes More Sense
If an operator is obsolete, unsupported by available parts, undersized for the gate it was fitted to, or failing repeatedly, replacement is often the better value. We will say so plainly and explain what a new operator would involve, rather than selling a repair that will not hold.
